Poroshenko thanks Estonia for contribution to activity of OSCE SMM in Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this during a joint briefing with President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I am glad to note that cooperation [between Ukraine and Estonia] in field of security is extremely effective. We have Estonian instructors, we have effective cooperation in the defense and technical field, we really appreciate the decisive actions [of Estonia] to strengthen the defensive capacity of our state," Poroshenko said.

The President of Ukraine also highlighted the contribution of Estonia to the activities of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donbas.

"The firm and principled position, the objective information coming from the observers of the Special Monitoring Mission gives the world the opportunity to clearly and fundamentally determine the responsibility of the Russian side for the brutal violation of the Minsk agreements, in particular, in the security aspect: violations of ceasefire and withdrawal of troops and obstruction of launch of the political process," Poroshenko emphasized.
