Militants launched 43 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

"Russian-occupation troops violated the ceasefire 43 times, including 10 times with the use of 152mm and 122mm artillery and 120mm and 82mm mortars. The units of the joint forces maintained active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy," the report reads.

The armed hostilities were particularly active in Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). 

At the same time, in Mariupol direction, the fighting continued in the area of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). Ukrainian strongholds near Vodiane came under sniper fire. By countersniper measures the sniper's fire was promptly suppressed, the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters informed.

According to intelligence, two militants were killed and three more were wounded.

No casualties were reported among Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation area over the past day.
