Russia escalates the situation in eastern Ukraine as more pressure is being put on Moscow over actions in Syria.
Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa wrote this on Twitter.
“Russia escalates more in Ukraine as it is pressed more over Syria. 66 attacks in Donbas, one Ukrainian soldier wounded, one killed in action. Rest in peace,” she wrote.
As reported, Russian-backed militants launched 66 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the ATO area in Donbas over the past day.
