Additional $2 million allocated for restoration of Donbas

The UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund (UN MPTF) has allocated $2 million for restoration and peacemaking in Donbas.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs.

"In the framework of the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund, the first $2 million has been allocated for the restoration and establishment of peace in Donbas. The funds were provided by the Governments of Canada and Sweden, and they will be administered by the World Bank in accordance with the priorities defined by the state target program called "The restoration and establishment of peace in the eastern regions of Ukraine," the report reads.

The corresponding decision was made at the meeting of the UN MPTF on March 13.
