Representatives of the North Atlantic Alliance at a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Inter-Parliamentary Council have noted significant progress in reforms of the Ukrainian security and defense sector.

Head of the Permanent Parliamentary Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, MP from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, Iryna Friz, wrote this on her Facebook page.

“The positive assessment should become an additional impetus for us to accelerate the pace of reforms, to achieve quality of reforms. It's nice that there have been no significant remarks from partners, which gives us reasons to believe we are moving in the right direction," Friz wrote.

On March 5-6, the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Inter-Parliamentary Council with participation of First Deputy Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Iryna Gerashchenko is taking place in Odesa. The event is organized by representatives of the Permanent Parliamentary Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
