Poltorak: Ukraine has all possibilities to develop new weapons

Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak stated this in an interview with mass media representatives, the ministry’s website reports.

“We have all possibilities to develop and put into service new military equipment and sophisticated weapons, which can significantly change the situation within the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the state of armament, as well as the current situation in the ATO area,” he stated.

Poltorak noted that Ukraine should count not only on the assistance from foreign partners but own capabilities as well: “We have to use not only assistance from our foreign partners, the United State, United Kingdom, Canada, and other countries. We have to use our capabilities and capacities. Our defense industry has been showing efficiency over the past one or two years”.
