One Ukrainian soldier killed, one wounded in Donbas over past day

Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Spokesman for ATO issues Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Unfortunately, one serviceman was killed yesterday. We express our condolences to the relatives and friends of our soldier who heroically defended Ukraine against Russian aggression," Hutsuliak said.

He also noted that one soldier was wounded as a result of the shelling of the positions of the Ukrainian military. His health condition was reported as difficult.

According to him, Russian-backed militants again used weapons banned under the Minsk agreements. They fired 19 times at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past day.
