Canada expands military training in Ukraine

Canada provided additional army forces to Ukraine to organize military exercises for the first time at the battalion level.
Ukrinform learnt this from the Defense Ministry of Canada.
"Within the framework of the continuation of the Canadian support for Ukraine, the Canadian Armed Forces will temporarily increase a number of instructors in the country to assist in the military training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the battalion level," the report said.
Thus, the Canadian contingent will increase up to about 240 people in two months and will be the largest one since the beginning of the UNIFIER mission in 2015.
According to National Defence Minister of Canada Harjit Sajjan, the increase in the number of the Canadian instructors "demonstrates the continuation of Canada's loyalty to Ukraine and its people."
