Russia to monitor U.S. weapons in Ukraine – U.S. lieutenant general

The modern lethal weapons provided by the U.S. to Ukraine can significantly influence the situation in Donbas.

Lieutenant General Frederick “Ben” Hodges, the former commander of U.S. Army Europe (2014-2017), said this during his speech in Washington, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"These weapons can influence the situation. Russians, the separatists will reckon with the location of the weapon at one point or another," he said.

At the same time, he noted that previous diplomatic works allowed avoiding disputes among NATO members due to the unilateral decision of the United States.
