OSCE recorded more than 60 explosions in Donbas over past day

The OSCE SMM recorded 66 explosions in Donbas for the period from January 22 to January 23.

This is stated in the report based on information received as of 19:30, January 23, 2018.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including 65 explosions, compared with the previous reporting period (about 280 explosions)," observers said.

"In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded one ceasefire violation (an explosion); it had recorded about 230 explosions in the previous reporting period," the OSCE stressed.

The SMM observed armoured combat vehicles in the security zone. At the eastern edge of government‑controlled Mariupol, the SMM saw an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) (BMP‑2). In non-government-controlled Donetsk city, the SMM saw an IFV (BTR-80).
