Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a press briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Unfortunately, one our defender was killed yesterday as a result of the enemy shelling near Luhanske. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends, as well as servicemen of the unit where the Ukrainian hero served,” he said.
As reported, Russian-backed militants continued to disrupt the ceasefire agreements of the Trilateral Contact Group and shelled the Ukrainian positions with weapons banned under the Minsk agreements.
