Militants continue to violate ceasefire in eastern Ukraine

Russian-backed militants violated ceasefire in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine two times over the past day. Ukrainian troops did not return fire.

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian strongholds near Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk). ATO troops outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) came under 120mm mortar fire.

No casualties among Ukrainian servicemen were reported.

However, one Ukrainian soldier got injured during the engineering works in Donetsk direction. He was immediately taken to a military hospital.
