Chiefs of defense of the NATO member countries have noted significant positive developments in the reform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Chief of the General Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Army General Viktor Muzhenko, said this after a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Military Committee in Brussels on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"All chiefs of general staff unanimously supported Ukraine's independence and sovereignty. They noted significant positive changes in the issue of reforming the Armed Forces," he said.

According to Muzhenko, at the meeting, the sides outlined further directions of cooperation on reforming and assisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

At the same time, he said that the Hungarian side did not express a separate position.

"Turkey was very powerful in support of us, including on new areas of our cooperation," Muzhenko said.

He specified that the issue concerned the provision of humanitarian, financial and advisory assistance, as well as reforming the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
