Russian-backed militants launched three attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded as a result of the enemy shelling. They were immediately taken to a hospital and provided with the necessary medical care.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy used a rocket-propelled grenade and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Travneve. The outskirts of Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk) came under infantry weapons fire.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants opened fire from 82mm mortars, small arms and heavy machine guns on the defenders of Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).
