President Poroshenko: Ukrainian army received 14 new types of military equipment last year

The main directions of reforming the Ukrainian army in 2017 were providing the military personnel with housing, transferring military equipment to the anti-terrorist operation area and designing advanced weapons.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko posted this on Facebook.
"We reformed the army in 2017 by providing the military personnel with their own housing, transferring military equipment to the anti-terrorist operation area, designing advanced weapons," the Head of State noted.
It is indicated that last year Ukraine's military budget had totaled UAH 64.4 billion. In addition, 1,300 military equipment units and 22,000 munitions and missiles were transferred to the ATO area in eastern Ukraine. Moreover, the army received 14 new types of military equipment, and 1,100 servicemen were provided with housing.
