One Ukrainian soldier wounded in Donbas over past day

Spokesman for Ukraine's Defense Ministry Colonel Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the enemy shelling near Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk). He was taken to a military hospital where he received the necessary medical assistance,” he said.

He added that Russian-backed militants launched two attacks on the Ukrainian positions over the past day.
