Militants also fired grenade launchers of different types and small infantry weapons near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and launched provocative attacks on the defenders of Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), using small arms. Ukrainian troops did not return fire. No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.
