Militants launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

“The enemy violated ceasefire in ATO area 15 times over the past day. As a result of the enemy shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, four servicemen were injured,” the statement reads.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations used 82mm and 120mm mortars to fire at Ukrainian positions near Travneve, Hladosove and and Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants launched attacks on Ukrainian strongholds outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), using heavy mortars. The illegal armed formations also shelled Ukrainian positions near Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk).
