Militants launched 30 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

“The enemy violated ceasefire in ATO area 30 times over the past day. As a result of the enemy shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, and one soldier was wounded,” the statement reads.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations used grenade launchers to fire at Ukrainian positions near Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction, the tensest situation was observed near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), where Russian-backed militants opened fire from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns. Militants also used infantry weapons to launch attacks on the defenders of Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky(12km north-west of Donetsk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used small arms to fire at ATO troops near Hranitne (57km south of Donetsk).
