Since the beginning of the conflict more than 2,750 Ukrainian servicemen have been killed in Donbas.

President Petro Poroshenko said this at the premiere of the The Cyborgs movie in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"More than 2,750 Ukrainian servicemen, in particular about 2,400 officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, gave their lives for Ukraine to be preserved," Poroshenko said.

The President noted that he had just returned from the Yavoriv training ground, where he together with American partners handed over new armaments and technologies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"I was very pleased to hear the words from the American general who said that in Yavoriv "we learn more from you, well, at least, no less than you from us," the Head of State noted.
