"Financing of aerial reconnaissance will be increased several times next year," Poltorak said.
According to the minister, more funds will be allocated for purchasing, maintaining and servicing of UAV, training of specialists, and creating of relevant departments in the combat units of the Armed Forces.
“The Defense Ministry is ready to introduce the experience of volunteers who helped servicemen with unmanned aerial vehicles from the first day of Russian aggression, and continue training experts in this field. Together with the volunteers, the Defense Ministry also intends to establish an aerial reconnaissance school. The experience gained by them during the fighting in the east of the country is priceless. And we have no right to lose it,” Poltorak stated.
