Defense Minister Poltorak: Situation in Donbas is a threat to the whole West

The situation in Donbas is a signal for other countries how events could develop.
Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak stated this during the talks with President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) Eugen Czolij, the Defense Ministry’s press service reports.
“The situation in eastern Ukraine is a threat to the whole Western world, thus fighting against information challenges with real actions rather than slogans is effective and efficient. We have to respond to information challenges together,” Poltorak said.
The UWC president, in turn, assured of steadfast support and assistance for Ukraine.
“You can count on our strong support. The world should understand that this is not the Ukrainian-Russian conflict, it’s a world threat. If Ukraine defends its border, it will ensure stability in the region,” Czolij said.
