President hands over military banner to 503rd battalion in Mariupol

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has handed over a military banner to the personnel of the 503rd battalion as part of his working trip to Mariupol, Donetsk region.
"On the occasion of the ceremony marking the Naval Infantry Day, I have the honor to hand over a military banner to the personnel of the 503rd battalion as evidence of high trust from the leadership of the state, its supreme military command and the entire Ukrainian people," Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that the marines, who demonstrate invincible fighting spirit and professionalism and selflessly carry out combat tasks every day, are rightfully the pride of the national military fleet and all of Ukraine.
