Kuwait interested in AN-178 aircraft - National Security and Defense Council

First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleh Hladkovsky said this on the results of the visit to Kuwait, the press service of the NSDC reports.

"I am pleased to acknowledge that representatives of the Kuwaiti defense institutions have shown a keen interest in our AN-178 aircraft. The Ukrainian party is ready to launch negotiations on cooperation in this direction, both regarding sales and joint production," he said.

The official emphasizes that the Kuwaiti market is "extremely promising" for the development of military and technical cooperation, starting with the armored industry and high-precision armament and ending with large-scale aviation projects

During the visit, Hladkovsky met with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kuwait Mohammed Khaled Al-Khadher; the parties underlined the importance of cooperation in the military and technical sphere and emphasized the necessity of its further intensification.

During the meeting of the first deputy secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine with Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority Farouk Al-Bastaki, the issue of attracting Kuwaiti investments in the Ukrainian economy was also considered.
