Militants launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

"Over the past day, illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire 15 times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on the enemy 10 times. As a result of the fighting, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded," the statement reads.

The tensest situation was observed in Donetsk direction, where the enemy used grenade launcher and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds in the industrial area of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). In addition, militants opened fire from anti-tank grenade launchers and machine guns on Ukrainian soldiers outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk). Illegal armed formations also used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, Russian-backed militants shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), using -tank grenade launchers and small arms.
