Infrastructure of liberated Donbas restoring despite the war – Turchynov

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said this during the opening of a bridge over the Siversky Donets river in the town of Rubizhne of Luhansk region, the press service of the NSDC reported.

"Despite the war, the restoration of the infrastructure of the liberated Donbas continues. Our servicemen not only protect the country, but also help restore the civilian infrastructure. We are grateful for their service to Ukraine," Turchynov stressed.

He recalled that the bridge over Siversky Donets was destroyed in 2014 by Russian terrorist groups. The servicemen of the State Special Transport Service completely rebuilt it.

He notes that the time will come when all regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be liberated, and peace and stable life will be in this region again. "This is our land, Donbas was, is and will be Ukrainian. There will be new houses, enterprises, there will be a new, strong, and powerful Ukraine," Turchynov said.
