Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 22 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas in last day.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

"Over the past day, illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire 22 times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on the enemy 15 times. As a result of the fighting, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded," the statement reads.

In Donetsk direction, illegal armed formations used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds outside Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, ATO troops came under heavy machine gun fire near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed mercenaries launched attacks on Ukrainian positions in the area of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
