Turchynov refutes information about illegal supply of Ukrainian weapons to Asia and Africa

Oleksandr Turchynov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has refuted information about the alleged illegal supply of Ukrainian weapons to the countries of Asia and Africa.
He stated this at a briefing within the framework of the All-Ukrainian forum of private defense enterprises, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"There was a publication saying that private companies violate the ban on arms supplies to the countries of Asia and Africa. We have checked this information. It is not true," the NSDC Secretary said.
As reported, representatives of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) recently announced that defense companies of Ukraine were mediators for European manufacturers which supplied weapons to Africa and the Middle East.
