Over the past week, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission recorded a 25% increase in the number of violations of the ceasefire in Donbas.

Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug stated this during a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Over the last week, the OSCE SMM recorded a 25% increase in the ceasefire violations. In total, we recorded 2,469 violations along the entire contact line," he said.

Hug notes that the observation of the OSCE SMM shows two things: the ceasefire regime is being violated, and an escalation can occur at any moment.
