Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 22 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

The tensest situation was observed in Mariupol direction, where illegal armed formations used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to fire at Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol).

In Donetsk direction, militants shelled Ukrainian strongholds outside Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. ATO troops near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) came under machine gun fire.

In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed militants launched attacks on Ukrainian positions near Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers and small arms. In addition, militants used grenade launchers outside Valuiske (20km north-east of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
