Militants launched 16 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Donetsk direction, militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds in the industrial area of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). In addition, terrorists fired at Novoselivka Druha (23km north of Donetsk) and Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), using weapons on infantry fighting vehicles.

In Mariupol direction, illegal armed formations used heavy machine guns to launch attacks on ATO troops near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). Ukrainian positions also came under enemy fire outside Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).

In Luhansk direction, Russian mercenaries used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
