Militants launched 51 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 51 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. There were no casualties among Ukrainian troops.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, militants used mortars of different caliber to shell Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). ATO troops also came under grenade launcher fire outside Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction, illegal armed formations fired at Ukrainian strongholds near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), using grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy also used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to launch attacks on the outskirts of Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). Militants shelled Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk) for an hour, using grenade launchers, small arms and 82mm mortars.

In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under grenade launcher fire near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). Terrorists also used 82mm mortars to launch attacks on Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk).
