Militants launched 30 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 30 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and one soldier was wounded.

In Mariupol direction, militants used 82mm mortars to launch attacks on Ukrainian troops near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

The tensest situation was observed in Donetsk direction, where illegal armed formations used mortars and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions in the industrial area of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). One Ukrainian soldier was killed as a result of the shelling. In addition, militants also used infantry fighting vehicle weapons and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under 82mm mortars fire in Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).
