Militants launched 27 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 27 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, militants used 82mm mortars to launch attacks on Ukrainian strongholds near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

The tensest situation was observed in Donetsk direction, where illegal armed formations used mortars and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions in the industrial area of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). In addition, militants once again fired at residential district of the village of Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under grenade launcher fire in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the shelling from grenade launchers of the positions of the ATO forces in Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), ATO press center informed.
