British, Ukrainian police officers to cooperate in combating organized crime

Police officers of Ukraine and the United Kingdom will cooperate in combating the organized crime.

This was discussed at a joint working meeting of the leadership of the National Police of Ukraine with the representatives of the British Embassy in Ukraine, the press service of the National Police informs.

"The parties discussed the priority issues and directions of further cooperation in combating crime. During the meeting, the parties agreed on the exchange of experience. Thus, the representatives of the National Police of Ukraine will soon undergo a training course in the UK where they will adopt practices of their British colleagues in combating the organized crime," the statement reads.

According to Chief of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Kniazev, the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and the UK is to be prompt and effective. "We are open and ready to cooperate," Kniazev said.
