The Russian aggression has already claimed lives of 11,000 Ukrainians, both the military and civilians.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this upon talks with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The aggression has already claimed lives of 11,000 Ukrainians," Poroshenko said, adding this refers to both civilians and the military.

"The greatest cynicism of this situation is that they [Russians] wage their aggression under the guise of the slogan about fraternal peoples," Poroshenko stressed.
