Militants launched 20 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 20 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, militants used 122mm artillery systems to shell Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops outside Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) came under grenade launcher fire. Terrorists also used heavy machine guns to fire at Ukrainian strongholds in Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants fired at ATO troops near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), using infantry weapon systems. Ukrainian positions outside Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk) also came under grenade launcher, heavy machine gun, small arms fire.

In Luhansk direction, militants used grenade launchers and small arms to shell ATO troops near Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk). Ukrainian servicemen came under 120mm mortar fire in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
