Final agreement on ceasefire in Donbas during harvest season not yet achieved – Lysenko

A final agreement on the introduction of the cease-fire regime in Donbas from June 24 during the harvest season has not been reached, but Kyiv hopes that the decision will be agreed.

Defense Ministry Spokesperson for ATO issues Andriy Lysenko said this at a press briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"There are talks and intentions to introduce a cease-fire regime, but a final decision has not been reached yet. We will wait and hope that at last the truce will be observed by the other side," Lysenko said.

As reported, another round of negotiations of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas was held in Minsk on June 21, the participants of the meeting reached an agreement on the cease-fire regime during the harvest season from June 24 until the end of the summer.
