Militants launched 57 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 57 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, militants used 152mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Hrafske and Olhinka. The enemy also fired at ATO troops near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk). The militants used mortars of various calibers, small arms and grenade launchers to fire at Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol) and Vodiane (35 km south-west of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction, the tensest situation was observed in suburbs of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), where militants shelled Ukrainian troops, using mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers and small arms. In addition, illegal armed formations used 120 mm and 82mm mortars, small arms and grenade launchers to fire at Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, militants used 82mm and 152 mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk), Trokhizbenka (33km north-west of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), Kriakivka (34 km north-west of Luhansk)

As a result of hostilities over the past day, one soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was killed, and five soldiers were injured and wounded.
