Militants launched 44 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 44 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, militants used small arms and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk). In addition, ATO troops came under sniper fire near Shyrokyne, Pavlopol and Marinka.

In Donetsk direction, the tensest situation was observed in Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and its suburbs. Here, the enemy used 120mm mortars, banned under the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers and small arms to shell the town. As a result, three civilians were wounded. In addition, militants launched attacks on Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), using infantry weapons.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations shelled Ukrainian strongholds outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).
