Sappers cleared mines from 9.5 ha in ATO zone for a week – Defense Ministry

Over the past week, the sappers managed to clear mines from 9.5 hectares of territory in the ATO zone.
Spokesperson of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Colonel Oksana Havryliuk said this during a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Over the past week, the sappers cleared mines from 9.5 hectares of territory in ATO zone, neutralizing 326 explosive devices, as well as 32.5 kilometers of road," she said.
She has noted that in general, since the beginning of the antiterrorist operation, the engineer unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized 150,860 mine and explosive devices, cleared more than 3,000 hectares of the territory in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 990 kilometers of roads and traffic routes and over 17.5 kilometers of railway lines.
