Militants launched 59 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol). ATO troops outside Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) came under 82mm mortar fire. In addition, illegal armed formations launched attacks on Ukrainian servicemen near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), using heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine came under Grad rocket launcher system fire. The tense situation also observed in Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), where militants shelled ATO troops, using 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian positions came under small arms fire near Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).
