Militants launched 40 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used 120mm mortars to launch numerous attacks on Ukrainian positions outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol). Ukrainian soldiers in Shyrokyne also came under 122mm artillery fire.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists shelled Ukrainian strongholds near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), using 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Militants also used 82mm mortars to fire at Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations used 82mm mortars and grenade launchers to shell ATO troops near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk). Ukrainian servicemen came under grenade launcher and small arms fire outside Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk).
