Militants launched 54 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used small arms, heavy machine guns and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Hranitne (57km south of Donetsk) and Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk). ATO troops also came under 82mm mortar fire outside Shyrokyne, Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants fired at Ukrainian strongholds near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk)and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian troops came under grenade launcher fire near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). In addition, terrorists used heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and 120mm mortars to fire at Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk).
