293 Ukrainian servicemen sent for treatment abroad since ATO start

Eighty servicepersons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who have been wounded in the area of conduct of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, now undergo treatment at the medical facilities of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

Defense Ministry representative, Colonel Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"About 80 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were wounded during the anti-terrorist operation, now undergo treatment at the medical facilities of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine. Another 293 people were sent for treatment abroad," Prauta said.

He noted that the Defense Ministry has four health resort institutions for treatment and medical rehabilitation of ATO participants.
