Militants launched 65 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 65 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, militants used 120mm mortars and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions near Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk). Ukrainian marines came under 82mm mortar, grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire outside Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol).

In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired at Ukrainian strongholds in Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), using 120mm mortars, antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. In addition, militants used 120mm mortars to launch attacks on Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). Ukrainian servicemen in Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) came under 82mm mortar, grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire.

In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed militants used 122mm artillery systems, ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mounts and antitank grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk).
