Russian-backed militants use Grad rocket launchers to shell town in Donetsk region

Russian-backed militants have used Grad multiple rocket launchers to shell the village of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another seven were wounded as a result of this attack.

"Today, March 20, the Russian occupation troops have once again violated the Minsk agreements and are trying to do everything possible to disrupt the removal of heavy weapons from the demarcation line," the report says.

In particular, the militants shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Vodiane, using BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 152mm and 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars.

According to preliminary information, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another seven were wounded as a result of the attack.
