Ms. Fiona Frazer, the Head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, stated this at the briefing, presenting the 17th report of the Mission, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We documented 130 civilian victims [those affected by the conflict] during the period from November 16, 2016 to February 15, 2017. Twenty-three persons were killed, another 107 were wounded," Frazer said.
She said that the findings of the Mission were based on the interviews with 205 people, who became victims or witnessed human rights violations, 65% of whom had been victims of shelling.
At the same time, she added that the Mission had already managed to document the information about more than 33,000 people affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
