Militants launched 112 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day, one soldier killed

Militants launched 112 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. Four Ukrainian servicemen were wounded, one was injured, and one soldier was killed.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used mortars and heavy machine guns to shell Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants used tanks to fire at Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, terrorists shelled Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), using mortars of different calibers, grenade launchers and small arms.

In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under 152mm mortar fire in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). Militants launched attacks on Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers and small arms.
