This is said in the statement of the European Union representative, available to an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels.
"We call for the immediate cessation of hostilities. This will help to restore critical infrastructure," the statement reads.
The EU representative also described the escalation of hostilities near Avdiyivka in Donbas, including with the use of heavy weaponry, as the flagrant violation of the Minsk agreements, which poses a great threat to the civilian population.
It was stressed that the representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission should have full unrestricted access to the conflict zone.
